Chapter 9: MediaStore 5100 and 5000 series hardware reference
Refer to “Power cooling module replacement” in the MediaStore Component Replacement Guide for
instructions.
PCM voltage operating ranges are nominally 115V or 230V AC, selected automatically.
MediaStore 5100 and 5000 series: power cooling module components
PCMs include power supply status LEDs, power button, AC In connector, power supply retainer, as well
as a latch and handle.

Key Component Description
1 Power Supply Status
LEDs
Each power supply includes four Status LEDs and their associated
labels.
2 Power Button Each power supply includes a Power Button that turns the supply
on and off. Each switch is labeled with an “I” for ON and an “O” for
OFF.
3 AC IN Connector Connect a stable AC source to each PCM AC IN connector.
4 Power Supply Retainer Holds the AC source in place.
5 Latch and Handle Each PCM includes a Latch and Handle that is used for removing
and inserting the module.

operating instructions when replacing a PCM.
