IMPORTANT
The sample type and the sample type setting of the Element DC must be same. Otherwise, the wrong test result will
be obtained.

For further information of the reference interval settings, refer to the Reference interval settings of MODE FUNCTION.

Be careful not to input wrong No. or ID.
10. Input or select sample information.
Input or select sample information (No., ID, Animal, Sample
type and Dilution) at the test preparation dialogue.
For further information of the settings of the test preparation
dialogue, refer to Section 2.2.2.
Refer to Section 2.3 for input at the screen keyboard dialogue.
IMPORTANT
Select [None], [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] or [10] for a dilution factor.
NOTE: A Dilution factor of 1 means no dilution will be performed.
(The [Dilution factor] of MODE FUNCTION is ignored.)
NOTE: [None] means no dilution usually, but if the dilution is
preset by the [Dilution factor] of MODE FUNCTION, the dilution
will be performed.
NOTE: Touch X at the top right of the dialogue to cancel a
dilution setting.
11. Close the sampler cover.
12. Lock the sampler cover with the key.
WARNING
During sample processing, ensure the LCD under cover and sampler cover are closed to prevent injuries and
biohazard. When the display reads [Ready to test], the sampler cover can be opened.
13. Touch START to start testing.
The tests start with a set dilution factor.
IMPORTANT
The disposal box must remain closed during testing. Otherwise, the results may be affected by opening them.
14. After the tests are completed, the test result dialogue is
displayed.
NOTE: When performing the next test with the same No., ID,
Animal and Sample type as those of the previous test, touch
RERUN. Only the setting of the Dilution field can be changed.
NOTE: When performing a new test by changing the test factors,
touch NEW TEST.
