15. After the tests are completed, dispose of the used mixing cup and remove the remaining sample.
WARNING
When discarding used mixing cups, always follow biohazard procedures (e.g., wearing gloves, lab coat, and safety
goggles), referring to the sample handling rules at your facility. If any part of the body comes in contact with samples,
immediately rinse the contaminated body part thoroughly under running water and then use ethyl alcohol as a
disinfectant. Seek medical assistance if necessary.
WARNING
As used mixing cups are infectious waste, process the waste correctly in compliance with any applicable regulations
in your country, such as by incineration, melting, sterilization or disinfection.
3.8.5 Setting Slides
Be sure to follow the slide stacking rules as shown below.
IMPORTANT
Complete the measurement within 30 minutes after unwrapping the individual package.
NOTE:
CM: Colorimetric test that does not require dilution
CM (Dil): Colorimetric test that requires dilution
NOTE: Always put an ISE slide first or last.
NOTE: A maximum of 20 slides can be loaded in a slide cartridge.
