In Abnormal Condition
Abnormality
• The operation lamp ashes in red when an abnormal condition of the air conditioners occurs.
• When there is a group in abnormal condition, the colour of its button changes to red.
• The “Alarm Inform.” button also appears at the lower side of the screen.
If “Alarm Inform.” is tapped, the following items are displayed.
a. Refrigerant cycle number, address and model code* of the indoor unit in abnormal condition
b. Alarm code
NOTE
(*) The model code may not be shown depending on the type of air conditioner unit.
• In case that multiple indoor units are in abnormal condition, the detailed information of abnormality for each unit is
shown alternatively. In such cases, it is also possible to select the group in abnormal condition to display by tapping
the “<” or “>” buttons at the “Alarm” window. Contact your dealer or a Hitachi customer service centre for detailed
information, after checking the indications of the LCD
Power Failure
• The display turns OFF in the event of a power failure.
• Once the devices stops due to a power failure, it does not start again after the power is recovered. Starting procedure
shall be performed again.
• In case of a momentary power failure which lasts less than 2 seconds, the device starts up automatically again.
Noise
• There may be cases in which the display turns OFF and the device stops due to the activation of the micro controller
for protection from electric noise. When the device stops due to this reason, perform the starting procedures again.
Freezing of display at the “Start-up” screen
• There is the possibility that a communication error occurred. Contact your dealer or a Hitachi customer service centre
for detailed information.
