Mount Racks

Mount the Rack in the
enclosure as follows.
• Using the diagrams
below as a guide, mark
the locations for rack
mounting in the
enclosure for the top
holes in the rack.

Note at right.)
• Drill and tap for # 10 (or
M4) screws.
• Start the mounting
screws (supplied by the
user) in the drilled
holes.
• Hang the Rack on the
screws at the top.
• Mark the locations for
the bottom screws.
(See CAUTION at
right.)
• Drill and tap for # 10 (or
M4) screws.
• Remove the rack from
the enclosure.
For dimensions of the pattern for drilling holes, refer to the
diagram below.
When drilling holes, prevent metal
flakes from falling into the rack, or onto any surface within
the electrical cabinet.
Note: Always mount racks as shown above. That is, never
mount vertically, or with backplane horizontal.
