Duty cycle distortion...
Duty Cycle Distortion is a measure of the time between the falling edge and
the rising edge of the eye pattern at the middle threshold. If the falling edge
and the rising edge intersect precisely at the middle threshold, there is no
duty cycle distortion. The middle threshold is set in the Dene Measure
menu. The default level is 50%. Duty cycle distortion is measured by
histogram analysis at the crossing points and middle threshold.
Duty cycle distortion can be displayed in two formats: time or percent. In
the time
format, the
actual
time
between
the
median
falling
edge
and
the
median rising
edge at
the
middle
threshold
is
determined.
In
the
percentage
format, the
time
dierence
is
determined
as
a
percentage
of
the
full
bit
width.
