Wide models only: Installing the front service housing
The SurePOS 700 Series offers a front service housing option that allows personnel
easy access to the unit for servicing. Follow these sequential instructions to install
this option.
Removing the bottom feet
So that your system unit can properly fit into the service housing, you will need to
remove the bottom feet:
1. Place the unit on a flat surface and turn upside down.
2. Remove the five outside feet by rotating each foot 90 degrees and removing.
3. Pull out the center foot.
Attaching the system and bezel latches
Follow these steps to attach the rear and bezel latches to the 4800 unit:
1. Complete the instructions described in “Removing the bottom feet.”
2. Set the unit on a flat surface.
3. Remove the power supply screw and retain for reuse.
4. Align the system latch to the corner of the unit as shown in Figure 89, insert
screw and tighten.
