Attaching the distributed pedestal to the counter
The distributed pedestal is available in short and tall versions. Both pedestals bolt
to the counter; therefore, installation is the same.
Figure 76 is an example of the pedestal and shows the pedestal components. You
can attach only the short-post mount to the short-post mounting plate to form a
standalone unit.
Follow these steps to attach the pedestal to the counter:
1. Using the template that is shown in Figure 77 on page 79 as a guide, mark the
screw-hole locations for drilling through the counter. Use an 8-mm or 5/16-in. bit
to drill the four screw holes.
