again. The key cannot be removed while it is in the ON position.
Function keys
Function keys, such as S1 and S2, permit the terminal to perform certain functions
or operations with fewer keystrokes by the operator.
On keyboards that have a Control (Ctrl) key, the S1 and S2 functions require a
combination of two keys:
1. Press and hold the Ctrl key A.
2. Then, press the S1 B or S2 key C.
If no Ctrl key is present, you need only press the S1 or S2 key. Figure 114
illustrates the keys on a typical keyboard.
On the ANPOS keyboard
v The Escape (ESC) key functions as S1.
v The Enter key functions as S2.
Keyboard lights (status indicators)
Four status indicator lights on the keyboard provide information about the system:
v Wait A
v Offline B
v Message Pending C
v Unlabeled (reserved) D
Note:
The fourth light is unlabeled and not currently used.
