card, P/N 6019483, is available through your IBM Marketing Representative. You
should clean the card reader about every 10 000 passes. To clean the card reader:
1. Locate the special cleaning card.
2. Hold the card horizontally with the stripe at the bottom and facing you.
3. Pass the card through the reader several times in either direction, using a
smooth, steady motion.
