Changing Remote Copy type of Relationship or Consistency Group
Starting from software 7.1.0, it is possible to change the copy type (MM, GM, or Cycling
mode) of a Remote Copy standalone relationship or Consistency Group, without recreating
them. In all cases, you must stop the relationship or the Consistency Group and edit it to
set up the new copy type you need.
Note: To change the type of Remote Copy, any Relationship or Consistency Group must
be in the Consistent Stopped state. When you change a copy type in a Consistency Group,
consider that all relationships within the Consistency Group also change their copy type.
