If the volume has only one copy, a storage pool selection window opens. If it has two, the
same window opens with a variation that allows you to choose the copy to migrate, as shown
in Figure 10-10.

The selection that you are presented with in Figure 10-10 denotes the current pool of each
volume copy, so you can better determine which storage pool to use.
If you need to move volumes between Storage Pools or you need to migrate a volume from
Thin Provisioned to Generic Volume or from Generic Volume to Compressed Volume, always
use the Volume Mirror Add copy and Delete copy functions.
Finally, you can also migrate a volume that is from an external storage system and you want
to migrate the volume’s data to an internal storage pool. For detailed steps to follow to
perform this operation, see Chapter 7, “Storage Migration Wizard” on page 283.
