Adjusting Adjustable Angle Flip-up Footplates
WARNING
When determining the angle of the footplates, make sure the rear of the footplates
DO NOT interfere with the movement of the front casters. Otherwise, injury or
damage may occur.
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE7.3.
Adjusting Depth
1. Removethetwoflatscrewsandlocknutsthatsecurefootplatetothehalfclamp.
NOTE:Observetheangleofthefootplateforreinstallation.
2. Movethefootplatetooneoffourmountingpositions.
NOTE:Ifdesireddepthisstillnotobtained,rotatethehalfclamponthefootplatehinge180°.
3. Tightenthetwoflatscrewsandlocknuts.
NOTE:Thesettingforpositioningthefootplateonthehalfclampmayvaryforeachfootplate.
4. RepeatSTEPS1‐3foroppositefootplate,ifdesired.
Adjusting Angle
1. Loosen,butDONOTremove,theadjustmentscrewinthehalfclamp.
2. Positionthefootplatetothenecessaryangletoaccommodatetheuser(DetailʺAʺof
FIGURE7.3).
3. Retightentheadjustmentscrew.Torquetoover90in‐lbs,butnomorethan300in‐lbs.
4. RepeatSTEPS1‐3foroppositefootplate,ifdesired.
