WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
DO NOT attempt to lift or tilt a wheelchair by using any removable (detachable)
parts. Lifting by means of any removable (detachable) parts of a wheelchair may
result in injury to the user or damage to the wheelchair.
Removing/Installing/Adjusting Conventional Adjustable
Height Armrests
WARNING
Make sure the locking mechanism is secured before using the wheelchair.

Removing Armrest
1. Turnthereararmrestreleaselevertotheunlockedposition.
2. Pullthefrontarmrestreleaseleverandliftuponthearmassemblytoremovethe
armrestfromthearmrestsockets.
3. RepeatSTEPS1‐2foroppositesideofwheelchair,ifnecessary.
Installing Armrests
NOTE:ReararmrestreleaseleverMUSTbeintheunlockedpositionwhenplacingarmrestinto
thearmrestsockets.
1. Insertarmrestassemblyintothetwoarmrestsockets.
2. Turnreararmrestreleaselevertolockedpositiontosecurearmrestassemblyto
armrestsockets(Detail“A ” ofFIGURE8.1).
3. Pulluptoensurethearmrestassemblyisproperlysecuredintothetwoarmrest
sockets.
4. RepeatSTEPS1‐3foroppositesideofwheelchair,ifnecessary.
5. Ifnecessary,adjustarmrestheight.RefertoAdjustingArmrestHeight
onpage 48.
