1. Removetherearwheelfromthewheelchair.RefertoRemoving/InstallingRear
Wheelsonpage 67.
2. Removethebuttonscrewsandwashersthatsecurethehandrimtotherearwheel.
3. Removetheexistinghandrimfromtherearwheel.
4. Installthenewhandrimbyreversingtheaboveprocedures.
 WARNING
Make sure detent pin and locking pins of
the quick/quad-release axles are fully
released before operating wheelchair.
5. Reinstallrearwheeltothewheelchair.

6. Repeattheprocedurefortheopposite
rearwheelifnecessary.

technician.
CAUTION
As with any vehicle, the wheels, casters and tires should be checked periodically for
cracks and wear, and should be replaced.
