FCD System Log Messages
This chapter describes messages with the FCD prefix. They are generated by the Fibre
Channel process (fcd) which connects servers to disks and tape devices in a storage area
network.
FCD_SYS_CALL_FAILED
System Log Message reason: error-message
Description A system call made by the fibre channel process (fcd) failed.
Type Error: An error occurred
Severity error
Facility LOG_DAEMON
Cause It is possible that the kernel did not have enough resources to fulfill the request.
