UTMD System Log Messages
This chapter describes messages with the UTMD prefix. They are generated by the unified
threat management process (utmd) which protects the network from all types of attack.
UTMD_MALLOC_FAILURE
System Log Message Out of memory. Unable to malloc error-message bytes
Description The example process (utmd) could not allocate memory for a resource possibly due to
lack of memory
Type Error: An error occurred
Severity error
Facility LOG_DAEMON
UTMD_SSAMLIB_FAILURE
System Log Message ssamlib call returned error : error-message
Description The example process (utmd) encoutered an error while calling a function or from a
callback of the ssamlib library.
Type Error: An error occurred
Severity error
Facility LOG_DAEMON
