NSTRACED System Log Messages
This chapter describes messages with the NSTRACED prefix. They are generated by the
USP trace process (nstraced).
NSTRACED_MEMORY_ALLOC_FAILED
System Log Message Unable to allocate count bytes of memory
Description The USP trace process (nstraced) could not allocate the indicated number of bytes of
memory.
Type Error: An error occurred
Severity error
Facility LOG_DAEMON
Cause System memory was exhausted.
Action Increase the amount of RAM in the Routing Engine.
NSTRACED_RESTART_CFG_READ_FAILED
System Log Message Subcomponent could not read configuration database
Description When the USP trace process (nstraced) restarted, it could not read its configuration
information from the configuration database.
Type Error: An error occurred
Severity error
Facility LOG_DAEMON
