APPPXY System Log Messages
This chapter describes messages with the APPPXY prefix. They are generated by the
Application Proxy process (apppxyd) which performs all of the services of a proxy, but
only for specific applications. The application proxy will only process packets that related
to the applications it supports.
APPPXY_RESOURCE_OVERUSED_MT
System Log Message ApplicationProxy: Suspicious client source-address:source-port
(->destination-address:destination-port) used percentage-value connections, which
exceeded the maximum allowed maximum-value connections
Description For ApplicationProxy, the amount of traffic from the specified source address exceeded
the amount permitted from one source. The maximum amount of traffic from one source
is a fixed percentage of the total amount of traffic
Type Event: This message reports an event, not an error
Severity error
Facility LOG_PFE
APPPXY_SESSION_ABORT_MT
System Log Message ApplicationProxy: session from source-address:source-port to
destination-address:destination-port aborted due to error-message (code error-code)
Description Report application protocol (ftp/http/pop3/smtp/imap) session is aborted
Type Event: This message reports an event, not an error
Severity warning
Facility LOG_PFE
