Annual inspection by trained and authorized electrician:
Inspect the generator and generator control cubicle for mechanical damages.
Inspect the protective conductor.
Measure the dielectric resistance.
Measure the substitute leakage current.
Test the generator functionality.
Test the proper functioning of the generator fan and clean, if required.
Clean the cooling air openings.
Check and tighten the screw connections at the generator and the generator control cubicle.
Check covers and power socket caps for damage and good sealing.
Check the completeness of labeling and warning labels.
3.9 Emergency situations
3.9.1 Correct fire fighting
Suitable measures
Calm and prudent action can safe lives in the event of a fire.
Keep calm.
Give the alarm.
Shut down the machine from the instrument panel if possible.
Warn and move endangered personnel to safety.
Help incapacitated persons.
Close the doors.
When trained accordingly: Attempt to extinguish the fire.
Extinguishing substances
Suitable extinguishing media:
Foam
Carbon dioxide
Sand or soil
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Strong jet of water

Fuel
Lubricating oils
Compressor cooling oil
Engine coolant
Battery electrolyte
Tool lubricant (Option ea)
