Depending on the use of either ball coupling or towing eye, different distance elements must be
installed to equalize the size difference between towbar and towing adapter:

Removing the towing eye Removing the ball coupling
1. Unscrew and remove the nuts 1 of the
screw connections.

Immediately dispose of the used self-locking
nuts.
3. Remove the screws 2

Remove the towing eye.
5. Pull off the distance bush.

2. Immediately dispose of the used self-locking
nuts.
3. Remove the bolts.
4. Remove the ball coupling 7

5.
If necessary, pull off the distance bush from
the towbar.
Fitting the towing eye Fitting the ball coupling
1. Slide the distance bush over the towbar.
2.
Position the distance bush so that the bolts
can be freely inserted.
3. Push the towing eye onto the distance bush.
4. Position the towing eye so that the bolts can
be freely inserted.
5. Push the screws through the corresponding
fixing holes.
6. Thread new self-locking nuts on both
screws and tighten with torque wrench (see
chapter 2.4.4).
1. If necessary, slide the distance bush over
the towbar.
2. Position the distance bush so that the bolts
can be freely inserted.
3. Push the ball coupling onto the distance
bush.
4. Position the ball coupling so that the bolts
can be freely inserted.
5. Push the screws through the corresponding
fixing holes.
6. Thread new self-locking nuts on both
screws and tighten with torque wrench (see
chapter 2.4.4).
