Altitude
This
function can be used to configure whether the altitudinal value appears on the transceiver display. If this function
is enabled, the altitudinal value appears on the transceiver display in GPS Position Display Mode. For convenience
of the user, either meters or feet can be configured for the format to display the altitudinal value.
If this function is disabled, the altitudinal value does not appear in GPS Position Display Mode.

Displaying the Location Information
The transceiver enters GPS Position Display Mode if the GPS Position Display key is pressed or “GPS Position Display”
is selected by pressing the Menu key while the transceiver is in standby mode.
For Mobile, the transceiver automatically toggles between displaying the location (latitude and longitude) and the altitude
approximately every 5 sec while in GPS Position Display Mode. Pressing the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key aborts GPS Position
Display Mode.

transceiver cannot enter GPS Position Display Mode if the display that appears in GPS Position Display Mode is not
configured.

For Mobile, pressing and holding the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key pauses the toggling of the automatic display. Pressing and
holding the Menu ([Q]) or [*] key again resumes the toggling of the automatic display.
