4. CHECKING, DISASSEMBLING AND SERVICING
[1] CHECKING AND ADJUSTING
Checking Clutch Pedal Free Travel
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal and measure free travel at top
of pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut, remove the cotter
pin and adjust the rod length within acceptable limits.
4. Retighten the lock nut (2) and split the cotter pin.
