(2) Relief Valve (Power Steering)
Relief Valve Setting Pressure
1. Disconnect the power steering delivery main delivery hose joint
bolt.
2. Install the adaptor 1 (3) and the adaptor 2 (4) to the regulator
valve, and then set the thread joint (2), the cable (1) and the
pressure gauge.
3. Start the engine and set the engine speed at max. speed.
4. Fully turn the steering wheel to the left or right and read the
pressure when the relief valve functions.
5. Stop the engine.
6. If the pressure is not within the factory specifications, check the
pump delivery line or replace the power steering controller
assembly.
Condition
• Engine speed : Maximum
• Oil temperature : 40 to 60 °C (104 to 140 °F)

(3) Hydraulic Pump Test Using Flow-meter (3-Points Hydraulic System)
Preparation
1. Remove the 3-points delivery pipe mounting bolts (2).
2. Remove the 3-points delivery pipe joint bolt (7).
3. Remove the 3-points delivery pipe (1).
(When reassembling)
• Apply grease to the O-ring and take care not to damage it.
• Install the copper washers firmly.
