[1] CHECKING AND ADJUSTING
Checking Brake Pedal Free Travel
CAUTION
• Stop the engine and remove the key, then chock the wheels
before checking brake pedal.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Slightly depress the brake pedals and measure free travel at top
of pedal stroke.
3. If the measurement is not within the factory specifications, loosen
the lock nut (1) and adjust with the turnbuckle (2).
4. Retighten the lock nut (1).

in.) on the pedal.
