8.3 Care and Maintenance Tasks

8.3.9 CleanTube Cassette Pump and Pump Cassettes
Precondition: - Tube cassette pump and/or pump cassettes are contaminated.
1. Take the pump cassettes from the pump.
2. Take the tubes from the pump cassettes.
3. Clean the pump and the pump cassettes.
4. Fit the tubes into the pump cassettes.
5. Insert the pump cassettes into the pump.
8.3.10 Clean Sample Pump
Precondition: - Sample pump is contaminated.
1. Open the pump head.
2. Take the tube from the sample pump.
3. Use a paper cloth and a little water to clean the pump rollers.
4. Whilst cleaning the rollers, rotate them by hand so that everywhere can be cleaned.
5. Insert the pump tube back in.
6. Close the pump head.
8.3.11 Adjust Sample Pump
Precondition: - Sample pump not adjusted correctly.
1. Open the pump head all the way (the cover must be vertical).
2. Turn the adjustment wheel on both sides (left and right) so that the setting value is 3.2 or 4.8
depending on the tube used.
