Monitoring
Life guarding event
The "life guarding event" is triggered in the NMT slave if the slave has not received an RTR
telegram from the NMT master within the "node life time":
In the Lenze setting, the NMT slave changes from the "operational" to the "pre-
operational" communication state.
Another state change can be set in C00625
or via the I-1029 object.
An emergency telegram with the emergency error code 0x8130 is sent to the NMT
master.
The response set in C00614
is initiated (Lenze setting: "No response").
Node guarding event
The "node guarding event" is triggered in the NMT master if the master has not received a
response from the NMT slave to the RTR telegram within the "node life time" or if the
toggle bit in the response telegram has not changed within the "node life time":
In the Lenze setting, the NMT master changes from the "operational" to the "pre-
operational" communication state.
Another state change can be set in C00625
or via the I-1029 object.
The response set in C00612/1...32
is initiated (Lenze setting: "No response"). For each
node to be monitored an individual response can be set in the NMT master.
Note!
The "life guarding event" can only be triggered in the NMT slave if at least one
RTR telegram from the NMT master has been received successfully.
Note!
The "node guarding event" can only be triggered in the NMT master if at least
one response from the requested NMT slave has been received successfully.
