Parameterising the NMT slave (node 2)
1. Set the NMT slave life time factor and guard time to the same values as in the NMT
master setting in C00386
:
– Set the guard time (C00382
) to 1000 ms.
– Set the life time factor (C00383
) to 5.
2. Set the response to be triggered by a "life guarding event" in the NMT slave via C00614
.

C00625
serves to set the state change for a "life guarding event" in the NMT slave.
Node guarding telegrams
Remote transmission request:
The RTR telegram from the NMT master has the following identifier:
Identifier (COB-ID) = 1792 + slave node address = 1792 + 2 = 1794 = 0x702
Remote transmission response:
The response telegram from the NMT slave has the same identifier. The user data
contain the NMT slave state "operational" (s = 5). Telegram structure
