4. Use handle (A) to move the lock rod to inboard position (B),
which engages pin (C) under the prop.
5. Lower the reel until the safety props contact the outer arm
cylinder mounts and the center arm pins.
Disengaging Reel Safety Props
Disengage the reel safety props once you have completed working on or around a raised reel to ensure the proper
operation of the reel and header.


1. Raise the reel to its maximum height.
2. Move reel safety prop (A) back inside the reel arm.
3. Repeat the previous step on the opposite end of the reel.
