3.8 Delivery Opening
The width and location of the delivery opening affects the width and configuration of the windrow.
The decision to widen or narrow the center delivery opening, or to double windrow, should be based on the following
factors:
• Windrower pick-up capability
• Type and yield of crop
• Weather conditions
• Available drying time
Refer to 3.10 Windrow Types, page 80 for the pros and cons of various windrow configurations with respect to these
factors, and also refer to 3.9 Double Windrowing, page 79.
3.8.1 Manually Adjusting Delivery Opening on Header
Both draper decks can be moved manually to adjust the delivery opening between 1720 mm and 1950 mm (67 1/8 in. and
76 11/16 in.).

1. Loosen bolts (A) on both decks.
2. Slide the decks the desired distance. Retighten bolts (A).
