3.4 Shutting down the Windrower
Before leaving the operator's seat for any reason, shut down the windrower.
DANGER
To prevent injury or death from the unexpected start-up of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the key
from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.
To shut down the windrower, do the following:
1. Park on level ground whenever possible.
2. Lower the header fully.
3. Place all controls in NEUTRAL or PARK.
4. Disengage the header drive.
5. Lower and fully retract the reel.
6. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
7. Wait for all movement to stop.
