5 Maintenance and Servicing
Use the following instructions as your first source of information for servicing the header. A parts catalog is located
in a plastic case at the right end of the header. If more detailed maintenance and service information is required,
contact your Dealer.
Log the hours of operation and use the Maintenance Schedule/Record provided to keep a record of scheduled
maintenance. Refer to 5.2.1 Maintenance Schedule/Record, page 122.
5.1 Preparation for Servicing
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury, before servicing the header or opening drive covers, perform the following:
1. Lower the header fully.
2. Stop the engine and remove the key.
3. Engage park brake.
4. Wait for all moving parts to stop.
