3.9 Break-In Period
After attaching the header to the windrower for the first time, operate the machine slowly for five minutes, watching
and listening from the windrower seat for binding or interfering parts.
NOTE:
Until you become familiar with the sound and feel of your new header, be extra alert and attentive.
CAUTION
Before investigating an unusual sound or attempting to correct a problem, stop the engine, engage
parking brake, and remove the key.
NOTE:
Perform the items specified in 5.2.1 Maintenance Schedule/Record, page 122.
