CAUTION
EngineStallingandpotentialengine
damagecanresultfromoperationofthe
enginebrakeatcoldoiltemperatures.
VehiclesequippedwithanEngineBrake
havealsobeenequippedwithaV-MAC®
controlfeaturethatwillpreventengine
brakeactivationuntiltheenginecoolant
reachesatemperatureofatleast52°C
(125°F).Thedrivershouldbealerttothe
factthattheenginebrakewillnotfunction
untilsufcientwarm-uptimehaselapsed,
regardlessofthedashswitchsetting.
