•Forcleaningvinylupholsteryandlining:wipewithasoftcloth,usingagoodcommercial
upholsterycleaner.Donotuseacetone,lacquerthinner,etc.
•Forcleaningfabricupholstery:useanupholsteryshampoospeciallydesignedforthis
purpose.Followthedirectionsonthemanufacturer’slabel.
Waxing
•Alwaysusewaxesandpolishesthatarenon-abrasive.Donotusewaxesorpolishes
thatcontainsilicone.
•Whenwaterdoesnotformsmalldropsandrolloffcleanpaint,applyacoatofgood
hardwax.
•Evenifaliquidwaxsolutionisusedonaregularbasis,itisadvisabletoprotectthe
nishwithahardwaxatleasttwiceayear.
•Yourtruckmayhaveabasecoatplusclearcoat.Useabasecoat/clearcoatwaxonyour
paintnish.
Polishing
Polishyourtruckonlyifthepainthaslostitsshineandtheglosscannotbebroughtback
withwax.Itisrecommendedtohaveaprofessionalpolishyourtrucktoavoidswirlmarks
ordamagetothepaintedsurface.
WinterWarnings
•Ifyourinseyourvehiclewithahose,avoiddirectwaterintolockcylinders.Youmay
experiencefreezingofthelockmechanism.
