lapandshoulderbelt.
Thistypeofbeltisdesignedtolock(preventbelttraveloutoftheretractor)onlyduring

uddenstopsorimpacts.Thisfeatureallowstheoperatortomovefreelyundernormal
conditions.
FasteningSeatBelt
1Pullclipsothebeltcrossesyourshoulderandlapandinsertitintothebuckleuntil
anaudiblesnapisheard.
2Makesuretheclipissecurelyfastenedintothebuckle.
3Totightenthelapportionofthecombinationbelt,pullupwardontheshoulderportion
untilthelapportiontssnugly.Thebeltshouldrestaslowonyourhipsaspossible.

Neverweartheshoulderportionofthe
beltunderyourarmorbehindyourback.
Improperusewillincreaseyourchancesof
injuryduringacollision.

Topreventpossibleinjurythebeltmustbe
positionedlowoverthepelvis,belowthe
abdomen.Ifthebeltisbuckledtoohigh,
itwillapplyforcetotheabdomen,not
thepelvicregion,andcouldcauseserious
