TransmitterOperations
Thedoortransmitterhasfourbuttons(labeledLOCK,UNLOCK,AUXandHORN)to
controloperationofthesystem.Whenanyofthebuttonsispressed,acodedUltra-high
frequency(UHF)radiosignalistransmittedtothereceiverinthevehicle.
Thetransmittermustbewithinapproximately10meters(33feet)ofthevehicleforthe
receivertodetectthecodedsignal.TheRemoteKeylessEntrysystemhasnoaffectonthe
normaloperationofthepowerdoorlocks.
WhentheLOCKbuttonispressed,thedoorswilllockandthelightswillashonce
indicatingthatthedoorsarelocked.Thedomelightwillbeonfor5secondsuponlocking
thedoorbyremote.Foraudibleconrmationofthedoorlock,presstheLOCKbuttona
secondtimeandthehornwillbeeponcetoconrmthedoorsarelocked.
WhentheUNLOCKbuttonispressedonce,thedriversdoorwillunlockandthelightswill
ashtwiceindicatingthatthedoorisunlocked.Thedomelightwillbeonfor30seconds
uponunlockingthedoorbyremote.PushingtheUNLOCKbuttonasecondtimewithin3
secondswillunlockbothdoors.
Note:IfAUTORE-ARMfeatureisselected,thekeylessentrysystemwillautomatically
re-armitself60secondsafterthedoorsareunlockedwithremotetransmitter.Automatic
re-armwillcancelifanydoorisopenedbeforethe60secondstimerhaselapsed.
PressandholdtheAUXbuttononthetransmitterfor0.5secondtoturnperimeterortrailer
accesslights"On"or"Off"(ifequipped).
PressandholdtheHORNbuttononthetransmitterfor3seconds.Thehornwillimmediately
soundandrunninglightswillash.Duringpanicmode,thenormalfunctionofthis
transmitterbuttonwillbesuspended.LOCKandUNLOCKbuttonscannotbeusedto
lockandunlockthedoors.Tostopthealarm,pressandholdtheHORNbuttononthe
transmitteragainfor3seconds.Ifthebuttonisnotpressed,thealarmwillautomatically
stopafter60seconds.
