WARRANTYINFORMATION
AirBrakeSystem
TheMACKStandardV ehicleWarrantyappliestotheairbrakesystem,assetforthinthe
Warranty,butonlyiftheairbrakesystemhasnotbeensubjectedtounauthorizedadditions,
deletionsormodications.Ifanysuchunauthorizedadditions,deletionsormodications
areperformed,MACKTrucks,disclaimsanyandallliabilityforanylossordamagearising
outofamalfunctionoftheairbrakesystem.
Theairbrakesystemwasdesignedandbuilttoconformtoallapplicablefederalmotor
vehiclesafetystandardsineffectatthetimeofmanufacture.
Tractorairsystemsaredesignedforoperationasatractoronly,andtruckairsystemsare
designedtobeoperatedasatruckonly.Ifatractorisgoingtobeconvertedforoperationas
atruck,theairbrakesystemmustbereconguredtothatofatruck.Conversely,ifatruckis
goingtobeconvertedforoperationasatractor,theairbrakesystemmustbereconguredto
thatofatractor.ConsultyourlocalMACKdistributorforadditionalinformation.
Ifanyunauthorizedadditions,deletionsormodicationsaremadetoanyportionoftheair
brakesystemwhichisrequiredbyAustralianDesignRegulations,MACKTrucks,makesno
representationastoconformitywiththeRegulations.
