•Softenthedirtonyourcabwithplentyofwaterandrinse.
•Cleantruckwithasoftsponge/brushstartingattheroofandworkingdownwardusing
slightpressure.
•Usemilddetergent.Neverusestrongsoapsorchemicaldetergents.Anycommercially
availablecleanerdesignedspecicallyforautomotivenishesmaybeusedforcleaning
thecabandhoodsurfaces.PPGIndustries,Inc.,3McompanyandMequiar’s™have
acompletelineofautomotivecleaningproductsavailablethatareapprovedforuse
onMACKvehicles.
•Rinsethespongeorbrushoftentokeepitclean.
•Ifpossible,cleanwheelsanddirtierareaswithaseparatesponge/brush.Thiswillhelp
avoidscratchingbodypaintwithgritfromotherareas.
•Rinsetruckthoroughlywithwaterandwipedrywithasoftcleanchamoisorallcotton
towelstoavoidsurfacescratchesandwaterspotting.
CAUTION
Donotcleantheundersideofthefenders,
cab,chassis,etc.withoutprotectingyour
handsandarms.Y oumayinjureyourself
onsharp-edgedparts.
Chassis
•Washawayexcessdirtandgrimewithwaterfromahose.
•Useamilddetergent/soapandasoftbrushtoremoveroadgrimeandsaltsthatcancollect
ontheframe.
•Rinsethoroughlywithahose.
Note:Cleaningofyourchassisonaregularbasiswillhelpdeteracceleratedcorrosion
andrustontheframeandcomponents.Chemicalsusedforiceandsnowremovaland
dustcontrolcancollectontheframe.Ifthesearenotremovedinatimelymanner,
acceleratedcorrosioncanoccuronfuellines,frame,andothercomponentseventhough
theyhavecorrosionprotection.
