13.4 Chains and belts
Chains—Non Drive Side
The chain marked no 5 is the 16B duplex rotor drive chain. The drive taken
across the pick-up centre shaft to chain no. 4 drives the auger. No’s 9 &10 are
the 12B wrapper roller chains driven from Hydraulic motors.
The only belt on the machine (no. 11) drives the netter system from the net clutch
to the tension bars and the net feed rollers (please refer to section 13.6)..
Non-drive side
Chains—Drive Side
All the chain on the drive side of the chamber are 1 –1/4 pitch. The main
drive chain off the gearbox is 100H and all other chains are 20B.
The pick up drive chains are ASA60H—3/4” pitch
