6.9 Hydraulic spool valve setup
Procedure to select open or closed centre valve configuration.
1. Using a 17 mm spanner, loosen locknut (1) as shown below.
2. With a 4 mm ‘Allen’ Key, tighten or unscrew the bolt (2) according to the fol-
lowing guidelines:
(a) Open Centre (Factory Default): Screw in fully. (Do not over-tighten)
Tightening torque = 6.0 Nm
(b) Closed Centre/Load Sensing: Unscrew 5 full turns from the fully in
position.
3. Re-tighten 17 mm locknut.
Tightening Torque = 20 Nm
