Part Maintenance Interval
Loudspeaker
and signal
lights
Check that all visual and
auditory warnings function.
Check monthly, and adjust
or replace as needed.
Caster wheels
(the four corner
wheels)
Check bearings and tighten,
and check the wheels for
wear and tear.
Measure the diameter of
the wheels to assess how
worn down they are.
Check weekly, and replace if
the diameter is less than
93mm.
Replace all four caster
wheels together.
Drive wheels
(the two middle
wheels)
Check wheel surfaces for
wear.
Measure the diameter of
the wheels to assess how
worn down they are.
Check every six months,
and replace if the diameter
is less than 185 mm.
Replace in pairs.
NOTICE
The robot's IMU must
be calibrated after
replacement of the
wheels—see How to
calibrate the IMU.
