2) When the preset number of slots is less than the number of actually used
slots
The slots other than those designated are disabled.
For example, when 8 slots are designated for a 12-slot base unit, the 4 slots
on the right of the base unit are disabled.
Mounting a module to a prohibited slot may generate an intelligent function
module assignment error (error code: 2124, SP.UNIT LAY ERR.)
