(3) If using the shim(s), sandwich the shim(s) between the
packings as shown in the illustration.
3. Install the axle shaft assembly. Tighten the nuts in a
diagonal order to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 29 Nm

DISASSEMBLY SERVICE POINTS
AA" ABS ROTOR REMOVAL
Use the special tool to press out the ABS rotor.
AB" BEARING INNER RETAINER REMOVAL
1. Use a grinder to shave off a part of the bearing inner
retainer until its thickness becomes 1 to 1.5 mm.
