5 Click on Submit.
The job will be scheduled to run at the time that you selected. You can check this on the
Jobs in Queue screen where Status will display Ready to Run.
When the backup completes, the system automatically disconnects from the Norstar system
and is ready to perform the next scheduled action.

Restore - System Programming
Restore - AA Greetings

Determine what type of action you want the system to
perform.
The Backup AA Greetings/Restore AA Greetings
selections are valid only for CICS systems.
The Backup - All/Restore - All selections only backup
or restore system programming on MICS systems; on
CICS systems, both System programming and AA
Greetings are backed up or restored.
Repeat

Every Day
Every 7 Days
Every 15 Days
Every 30 Days
Choose the number of times you want the procedure to
repeat within a 30-day schedule.
For restore operations, this field is grayed out since they
can only occur once.
Time
Difference
+XX.X or -XX.X This field indicates the number of hours difference
between the time clock of the ICSRT computer and the
Norstar system.
By setting this field, you can prevent the possibility of
accidentally scheduling the backup or restore to start
during a busy period at the customer site.
PC Source
File
<file path> Enabled only during restore operations.
Browse and select the file that contains the appropriate
backup file to be restored.
By default, this edit box will be blank.
Connection Properties: These properties are the same that were set for the customer record. Change
them only if the connection hardware has changed.
Notes <text>
Enter any notes about the job or the system.
Note: If you change the time and/or date on your computer, ensure that you exit the
Scheduler and restart it, to allow it to synchronize timing, so that the jobs on queue
execute correctly. Refer to
“Starting the Scheduler” on page 109.
Warning: Do not shut down your computer while a backup or restore job is running.
When you restart your computer, ensure that Scheduler is started. Refer to
“Starting the
Scheduler” on page 109.
