Removal Procedure

8. Pull the 5/32” Allen wrench from the left screw hole and secure the cath rack to the left side of
the frame with the screw provided.
9. Pull the 5/32” Allen wrench from the right screw hole and secure the cath rack to the right side
of the frame with the screw provided.
10. Connect the eight cables from the cath rack to the wireway.
11. Install the cable cover to the frame with three screws using a 3/32” Allen wrench.
12. Replace the switchpanel connector covers in the remaining wireway holes in the frame of the
OmniSupplier.
Configuration
1. Power up the CT PC Box.
2. Log on by entering a valid user ID and Password.
3. Select OmniConfigurations - -> Catheter Module Configuration.
4. Enter the current value.
The value equals the number of rows from the top of the cabinet to the first cath rack
connected to the wireway. As an example, if the first wireway cable is attached to the fifth
wireway connection, the value would be 5.
Removal Procedure
1. Perform a graceful shutdown of the CT PC Box.
2. Unlock the cabinet where the catheter rack is located.
3. Remove the cable cover using a 3/32” Allen wrench to remove the three screws.
4. Disconnect the eight cable connectors from the wireway.
5. Remove the screw from the left screw hole and replace it immediately with a 5/32” Allen
wrench.
6. Remove the screw from the right screw hole and replace it with an Allen wrench.
7. Lift the cath rack off the Allen wrenches and carefully remove it from the frame.
8. Set the cath rack down with the hooks facing up so that they are not damaged.
Note:
Ensure that the cover does not pinch any of the cables.
Caution: Cath racks are very heavy and awkward to install or remove due to limited hand holds. Never climb
inside a frame when installing or removing a cath rack. To properly and safely install a cath rack, two people
are required.
Serious injuries could result from improper handling of a cath rack or failure to abide by the caution and
warning alerts noted in this procedure.
