Installing an Operating System
This section provides instructions for installing an operating system on a single server. It
includes instructions for preparing the single server for operating system installation.

Preparing to Install an Operating System
Before you install the operating system, you must perform a number of actions to prepare the
server. You can complete all of these actions using Oracle System Assistant (recommended), or
you can complete them without Oracle System Assistant. The following table lists both options.
