(48) It is not necessary to set the parameter for the following suffix (Destinations). The Fax Firmware is
automatically loaded with the Host Firmware.

(49) Perform Parameter Initialization by following the steps below.
1) Press the “Function”, “Copy”, and the “3” keys simultaneously on the Control Panel.
g. Input the password, and select the “OK” button to enter the Service Mode (default password is
00000000, except for DP-C322 Series which do not require a password).
2) Press the “9” key on the Control Panel, and then press the “Start” key to enter the F9 Service
Mode.
3) Select “00 FAX Service Mode” on the Touch Panel display.
4) Scroll the menu with the “” button on the Touch Panel display, and select “06 RAM Initialize”.
5) Select “01 Parameter Initialize” on the Touch Panel display.
6) Select the “Yes” button on the Touch Panel display. Wait approximately 1-2 seconds, the unit beeps
when initialization is completed.
7) Select the “Close” button four time on the Touch Panel display.
8) Press the “Function”, and the “C (Clear)” keys simultaneously on the Control Panel to exit the
Service Mode.
9) Reboot the machine after setting the parameter(s) to activate the setting(s). (Turn the Power Switch
on the Left Side of the machine to the OFF ( ) then back to the ON ( I ) position.)
(50) Proceed the communication test to ensure the Fax Option works properly.
<Change from 200 to 1,000 stations Address Book>
An additional 800 stations (1,000 total) are available,
For DP-C405 Series : Standard Feature (HDD is Standard).
For DP-C354/C322 Series : When the optional Hard Disk Drive (DA-HD32) is installed.
If you wish to use the 1,000 Address Book, please follow the steps below to change the address book
setting of the machine.
Caution:
• The registered address book data will be deleted when the address book setting is changed.
If your machine already has registered stations in the Address Book, please make a backup first before
changing the address book setting.
• Before changing the Address Book setting, printout the Address Book information, or copy the Data
using the Address Book Editor in the Panasonic Document Management System software. After
executing the setting change, reenter the printed Address Book information, or copy and paste the
Data from the 200 to the 1,000 stations Address Book file. (See the Operating Instructions for
Document Management System, and Printer)
