13.05.24 Thread check spring and slack thread regulator
Requirement
1. The stroke of thread check spring 5 must be completed when the needle point
penetrates the material (travel of the spring approx. 7 mm).
2. When the thread loop is at its largest when going round the hook, the thread check
spring 5 must be lifted slightly above support 1.
● Adjust support 1 (screw 2) according to requirement 1.
● Move slack thread regulator 3 (screw 4) according to requirement 2.
For technical reasons, it may be necessary to deviate from the travel of the
spring and/or the spring tension indicated here.
