9.02 Winding the bobbin thread / adjusting the thread tension

● Place an empty bobbin 1 onto shaft 2.
● Thread the bobbin in accordance with Fig. 9-02 and wind it clockwise around bobbin 1 a
few times.
● Cut thread end using thread cutter 3.
● Switch on the bobbin winder by pressing the spindle 2 and cam 4 simultaneously.
The bobbin 1 fills up while you are sewing.
● The thread tension on bobbin 1 can be adjusted with screw 5.
● The bobbin winder stops automatically when bobbin 1 is full.
To adjust the filling amount, see chapter 13.05.22 Bobbin winder.
If the thread is wound unevenly:
● Loosen nut 6.
● Turn thread guide 7 accordingly.
● Tighten nut 6.
